Dan Chen is a fluent Mandarin speaker and an Associate in the Employment Law team at NB Employment Law (formerly NB Lawyers). His diverse experience ranges from industrial relations consulting to working with major financial institutions, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape.

Prior to joining NoBorders Law Group, Dan served as an Industrial Relations Consultant, where he advised on employee termination, performance management, Award analysis, and Enterprise Agreements. This experience has equipped him to handle a wide range of employment law matters effectively.

Dan holds a Bachelor of Laws/Commerce degree from the University of Queensland (UQ) and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice. Further enhancing his credentials, he has also undergone additional training in the area of Industrial Relations.

In addition to his expertise in employment law, Dan has extensive experience in conveyancing matters, mortgage securitisation, and consents. He has notably worked on developing procedures for the PEXA e-conveyancing system, showcasing his ability to adapt to new legal technologies.

Passionate about his work, Dan is committed to providing comprehensive advice that empowers clients to make informed decisions. His unique blend of experiences and dedication to client service make him a valued member of the NoBorders Law Group team.

David is a Lawyer in the Employment Law team at NB Lawyers with previous experience working as an Industrial Advocate from early 2021. David has advocated for both employers and employees, providing advice in particular areas such as discrimination, dismissals, wage theft and employment-related disputes.
During his time as an Industrial Advocate, David appeared in more than 60 conciliations across the Fair Work Commission and the Queensland Human Rights Commission, achieving strong outcomes for many of his clients.
David holds a Bachelor of Laws from the University of Southern Queensland and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law Queensland.
When not at work David enjoys expanding his knowledge of the guitar, playing tennis and is an active volunteer with the Queensland Bar Association.

Grace has found her passion within employment law, initially being introduced to the IR law world within a Case Manager position at an Industrial Association advocating for employees.

Grace has since continued to develop her skills and is committed to providing top results for all employers. Assisting Senior Associate Michelle Chadburn, Grace is passionate about helping employers navigate the full range of employment law queries and issues, including unfair dismissals, general protections, employment and more. When not at work, Grace enjoys spending her time making and viewing visual art, brunching with friends, and collecting all things pink!
