Associate

Dan Chen is a fluent Mandarin speaker and an Associate in the Employment Law team at NB Employment Law (formerly NB Lawyers). His diverse experience ranges from industrial relations consulting to working with major financial institutions, providing him with a comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape.

In addition to his expertise in employment law, Dan has extensive experience in conveyancing matters, mortgage securitisation, and consents. He has notably worked on developing procedures for the PEXA e-conveyancing system, showcasing his ability to adapt to new legal technologies.

Passionate about his work, Dan is committed to providing comprehensive advice that empowers clients to make informed decisions. His unique blend of experiences and dedication to client service make him a valued member of the NoBorders Law Group team.

Senior Associate

Michelle is a seasoned Senior Associate at NB Employment Law, bringing with her a wealth of experience in employment and workplace health and safety laws across Australia.

She holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from Queensland University of Technology, complemented by a Bachelor of Behavioural Studies from the University of Queensland. Her academic background has provided her with a comprehensive understanding of the legal landscape, enabling her to serve her clients effectively.

Her expertise spans all aspects of employment law, work health and safety, discrimination law, and industrial relations. She represents clients in defending against unfair dismissals and general protections, drafts employment contracts, contractor agreements, and workplace policies. Additionally, she advises clients on managing ill and injured employees, genuine redundancies, and performance management of employees.
