Allan Watkinson

Principal Consultant

Allan Watkinson is a Principal Consultant based in Gallup’s office in Sydney, Australia. As an expert in leadership, engagement and performance, Allan brings over three decades of corporate management, consulting and coaching experience to Gallup’s clients across the region.

Allan consults, coaches and trains executive and senior business leaders across Asia Pacific to improve their leadership capability and create high performing workplaces. He adopts a practical and action-oriented approach to his coaching and facilitation of leadership teams. Several of Allan’s clients have received the Gallup Exceptional Workplace and Don Clifton Strengths-Based Culture awards. Named by the Sydney Morning Herald as one of Australasia’s top workplace experts, Allan is a sought-after speaker on people and performance at conferences across the region.

Before joining Gallup more than 15 years ago, Allan served as Global Head of Business Change and as Global Head of Organisational Development and Talent for Reuters in London. He began his business career as a senior consultant at PwC in Sydney and London. He also managed a successful youth hostel while living in Brazil and worked in medical research for a number of years as a Biochemist.

Allan received a Bachelor’s Degree in Science (with Honors) from the University of Sydney and an MBA from the Australian Graduate School of Management.
