Our Brisbane office is seeking an experienced Migration Lawyer who is passionate about helping clients build new lives in Australia and who thrives in a collaborative, results‑driven organization.

 

The Role

This is a hands-on role where you will manage a diverse range of migration law matters while working within a collaborative and supportive team. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to team development and mentor junior staff over time.

Key Responsibilities

·       Provide high‑quality immigration legal advice and assistance

·       Manage and oversee files to ensure quality, compliance, and timeliness

·       Draft legal submissions for applications, reviews, and appeals

·       Appear before courts and tribunals, where required

·       Maintain accurate file notes and supporting evidence

·       Ensure timely, professional, and positive client communication

·       Meet monthly budgetary and performance requirements

 

About You

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

·       A strong commitment to delivering exceptional client service

·       3–5 years’ (or more) experience practicing Migration Law

·       Admission as an Australian legal practitioner with a current Queensland Practicing Certificate

·       Ability to build strong, trusted client relationships

·       Excellent teamwork skills

·       Proven ability to manage multiple files and deadlines

·       High attention to detail and quality of work

·       Strong motivation and results‑driven mindset

·       Excellent written and verbal communication skills

·       Ability to speak a second language (desirable, not essential)
