Agnes Kemenes, the founder and CEO of NoBorders Law Group has been a successful migration advocate since 1998. Her rich experience in assisting individuals and businesses to achieve their migration goals stems from her own journey as a migrant.
Originally from Budapest, Hungary, Agnes arrived in Australia in 1987 without knowing English or having any connections in the country. Her personal experiences, including overcoming ‘Migration Syndrome’ and establishing her own migration practice in 1998 through dedication and hard work, give her unique insight into her clients’ situations.
In 2010, Agnes was a finalist in the Queensland Ethnic Business Awards. Her passion for people and Australia, combined with her professional and legal knowledge, resulted in a steady stream of clientele, primarily through referrals from satisfied clients. While managing a thriving practice, Agnes completed her legal studies at the Queensland University of Technology, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree and gaining admission as a lawyer.
Agnes also participates in various corporate and political functions, where she voices her opinions on Australia’s migration policy and establishes corporate alliances for her clients’ benefit. Roosewelt Sanfilippo is a Principal Lawyer and Corporate Migration Specialist at No Borders Law Group, based in Sydney, Australia. With extensive expertise across employer-sponsored visas, business migration, and distinguished talent pathways, Roosewelt offers strategic guidance to individuals, companies, and entrepreneurs navigating Australia’s immigration system.
He holds a Bachelor of Law from UDF (Brazil), a Diploma in Law from the University of Sydney, and a Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice from the College of Law, NSW. Rae Lai is a lawyer in our Immigration team, fluent in Mandarin and English, and proficient in Cantonese. She plays a key role in supporting clients across the Asia-Pacific region, helping bridge both linguistic and cultural gaps. Rae holds a Bachelor of Laws and a Bachelor of Arts (International Relations) from the University of Sydney and completed her Practical Legal Training at the College of Law. She was admitted to the Supreme Court of New South Wales in 2025.
Before specialising in immigration law, Rae gained experience in family law, conveyancing, and criminal defence. This diverse background gives her a well-rounded perspective, particularly in matters where migration law intersects with family and criminal issues. Her experience is especially valuable in complex partner and child visa applications, and in advising clients on potential legal risks in residency or citizenship matters.

She is working towards becoming an admitted solicitor. She is able to speak some Vietnamese and Cantonese, due to her background, but she is most fluent in English!

Shyranthi aka Shy, holds a LLB (Hons) from University of London and is currently working towards her admission to practice as a lawyer in Queensland. She also has over two years of experience in migration laws of Australia .
Having moved from Sri Lanka, she brings the perspective to deal the matters of migration with great deal of empathy and determination to assist others in the best way possible. Along with a strong suit in communication, Shy is a very friendly person who tries to navigate around the circumstances of the clients.
In addition to being a fluent English speaker she is a native speaker of Tamil and Sinhala.

Lucian has spent the last five years in sales, and if there’s one thing that’s stayed constant, it’s this: people do business with people they trust. That belief has shaped everything about how he works. He listens first, takes the time to properly understand what someone actually needs, and keeps things straightforward rather than overcomplicating them with jargon or unnecessary process.
Over the years he’s built his career across different sides of sales, from direct client relationships to managing targets and leading teams, picking up an all round view of what it actually takes to get people the outcome they’re after. That experience, understanding people, staying patient through the details, and following things through properly, is what he brings into everything he’s building at No Borders Law Group.
Of Croatian and Macedonian heritage, Lucian grew up around a strong sense of hard work and straight talking, and those values still guide the way he does business today. No shortcuts, no empty promises, just honest conversations and a genuine effort to get things right.
Outside of work, you’ll usually find Lucian at the gym or watching football and generally trying to keep some balance between the two.
