CEO of NoBorders Law Group
Agnes Kemenes, the founder and CEO of NoBorders Law Group has been a successful migration advocate since 1998. Her rich experience in assisting individuals and businesses to achieve their migration goals stems from her own journey as a migrant.
Originally from Budapest, Hungary, Agnes arrived in Australia in 1987 without knowing English or having any connections in the country. Her personal experiences, including overcoming ‘Migration Syndrome’ and establishing her own migration practice in 1998 through dedication and hard work, give her unique insight into her clients’ situations.
In 2010, Agnes was a finalist in the Queensland Ethnic Business Awards. Her passion for people and Australia, combined with her professional and legal knowledge, resulted in a steady stream of clientele, primarily through referrals from satisfied clients. While managing a thriving practice, Agnes completed her legal studies at the Queensland University of Technology, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree and gaining admission as a lawyer.
Agnes also participates in various corporate and political functions, where she voices her opinions on Australia’s migration policy and establishes corporate alliances for her clients’ benefit. Known for her charisma, empathy, and innovative thinking, Agnes is dedicated to assisting clients throughout the migration process. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Member No. 004.

Eugen is a seasoned online project manager and Chief Information Officer at NoBorders Law Group. He has been with the company since 2008, and with a passion for technology, Eugen has led the digital transformation of NoBorders Law Group. Back by a Bachelor of Computer Science & Media from Stuttgart Media University, he brings a wide range of skills including web development, print and web design, digital marketing, IT systems, data analysis, budgeting, business operations, server management, and network engineering.
Core to Eugens’ role is leveraging technology to streamline operations and enhance our customer experience. Eugen’s expertise lies in designing and customising systems, ensuring that NoBorders Law Group stays at the forefront of the latest technology to provide secure and efficient support to our team and clients. As technology rapidly changes, Eugen oversees adapting our systems and processes to ensure we deliver results and stay ahead of the curve as the business landscape changes.

Krisztian joined No Borders Law Group in May 2020. He completed his Bachelor of Laws (Hons) at the Queensland University of Technology in July 2019. Following his admission as a lawyer at the Supreme Court of Queensland, he has been one of the firm’s main immigration law solicitors. Having navigated the Australian immigration system as a first-generation migrant, he appreciates the stress and excitement of building a new life in a foreign country.
As such, Krisztian strives to provide realistic advice tailored to the client’s needs and expectations. While acting on various matters from skilled, employer and family-sponsored applications, he focuses on appealing refusals at the Administrative Appeals Tribunal and assisting clients with complex citizenship inquiries, health, and character waivers.”

Guzel has over 15 years’ experience within Client Relationship roles in different field with most of her experience being accumulated in Russia and Europe.
Guzel finished her Masters degree in London, worked for international companies overseas for over a decade and successfully moved to Australia.
Being a migrant herself, Guzel deeply understands her clients on a personal basis, so a Client Relations Executive role fits her just perfectly.
Guzel’s had lots of obstacles in her personal migration journey, that is why she sees it as her mission to help people in that difficult path. “Migrant of yesterday helping migrant of today” truly characterizes Guzel. In addition to being fluent in English, Guzel also speaks Russian and Tatar.

Patrick joined No Borders Law Group as a paralegal in February 2023 following the completion of his Bachelor of Laws (Honours) and Bachelor of Arts (Politics) double degree at Monash University, having previously studied at the Australian National University for one year as a chancellor’s scholar. Since joining, Patrick has now completed his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice at the College of Law and been admitted as a solicitor.
Throughout his time at No Borders Law Group, Patrick has assisted with a variety of skills assessment, visa, and citizenship applications. He is results driven and has a strong record of delivering the desired positive outcome for clients for both applications and appeals. This includes complex cases involving health waivers, the domestic violence provisions, and technical citizenship applications.
His interest in migration law stems from its inextricable ties to administrative law and the real world benefit it has on people and society.

Ali is an immigration lawyer who joined No Borders Law Group in January 2023. He has a bachelor’s degree in criminology and obtained his Juris Doctor of Law in July 2022.
Ali was admitted as a lawyer of the Supreme Court of New South Wales in December 2022. With his own immigrant background, Ali possesses a unique perspective on the significance of migration law and a deep understanding of the challenges faced by individuals seeking a better life in a new country.
He is driven by a strong desire to make a positive impact on those in need of migration assistance. Prior to joining No Borders Law Group, Ali volunteered at a community legal center that offers legal support to refugees and asylum seekers. He has applied his passion for helping migrants by achieving successful outcomes, including overturning Department and AAT decisions for clients who had their visas refused or cancelled.
While Ali enjoys practicing all areas of migration law, including family sponsorships and work visas, he specializes in resolving visa refusals and handling submissions for resident return visas, health waivers, and no further stay conditions. In addition to being fluent in English, Ali is multilingual and proficient in Dari, Farsi, and Urdu. During his free time, he enjoys playing soccer and percussion instruments.

Somayeh is a Paralegal and Migration Coordinator. She completed her Bachelor of Laws (Honours) in 2021 and was admitted as a Solicitor in the Supreme Court of Australia in September 2023.
Since migrating to Australia in 2003 and facing the struggles firsthand, Somayeh has dedicated many aspects of her life to assisting other migrants with settling in Australia. She has experience working alongside Australian Refugee Association, RASSA, JusticeNet and two other migration-oriented firms prior to joining No Borders Law Group in May 2023.
Somayeh is determined to continue offering migration assistance and achieving favourable outcomes for migrants. She is fluent in English, Dari, and Farsi. Her interests include music and art.

Elrene or EJ as fondly called by many, had graduated Bachelor of Laws in 2018. He completed his Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice in 2022 and subsequently admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales on the same year.
Prior to this, he previously graduated overseas with the degree of Bachelor of Arts Major in Philosophy and Minor in Religious Education and has background in International Relations. In his current position in the company, Elrene provides client service with the provision of quality, timely and cost-effective administration and support services to the Client Relations Executive and Branch Manager.
He is also responsible for ensuring the successful completion of a variety of migration applications for clients. As a junior lawyer, he manages all aspects of client files from the initial acceptance through to the final stages of the applications.
Elrene appreciates working in a challenging environment because he believes that nothing is more rewarding than delivering a solution to complicated situations or complex matters. He is very pleased to be able to practice in migration law.
