The Short-Term Skilled Occupation List (STSOL) is a comprehensive list of occupations that are currently in high demand in Australia. The list is determined by the Department of Home Affairs and is regularly reviewed by the Department of Employment, Skills, Small and Family Business to respond to changes in the labour market. Having an occupation on this list may make you eligible for one or multiple of the following visa types:
- 407 Training Visa
- 489 Skilled Regional (Provisional) Visa
- 482 Temporary Skill Shortage Visa
- 187 Regional Sponsor Migration Scheme
- 190 Skilled Nominated Visa
