Main Duties Will Include:
- Providing expert legal advice and representation to employers on a wide range of employment law matters
- Managing case files and ensuring they are handled with the highest level of professionalism
- Drafting legal documents, including employment contracts, policies, and submissions for tribunal hearings
- Representing clients in employment tribunals and other relevant forums
- Maintaining detailed file notes and ensuring all client communications are timely and effective
- Meeting monthly budgetary and performance targets
The Successful Candidate Must Possess:
- A strong commitment to providing outstanding client service to employers
- At least three (3) years of post-admission experience (PAE) in Employment Law, with a focus on employer representation
- Experience in advising on workplace disputes, unfair dismissal claims, and compliance with employment legislation
- Familiarity with employment tribunals and a solid understanding of procedural requirements
- Proficiency in managing legal databases and software, with advanced skills in relevant legal technology
- A current Practicing Certificate in Queensland (or ability to obtain one)
- The ability to forge strong relationships with clients and colleagues alike
- A meticulous approach to managing multiple tasks and meeting deadlines
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of work
- Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written
