Alex Kay

Born in a distinctive location at the crossroads of Kazakhstan, Mongolia, Russia, and China in Central Asia, Alex’s upbringing was infused with a rich mix of Islamic and Christian traditions, fostering a multicultural perspective from an early age.

His educational journey reflects his diverse interests and passions. Alex embarked on his academic path with a Bachelor of Journalism, followed by a Master’s degree in Sports Management, and later, a Bachelor of Laws. This diverse educational background laid the foundation for his future endeavours.

In 2008, Alex embarked on a new chapter in his life, migrating to Australia alongside his Ukrainian wife and daughter. This journey opened up a world of opportunities and possibilities for his growing family. Today, they are a proud family of five, with their children fluent in multiple languages, reflecting their cultural heritage.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Alex is deeply committed to giving back to the community. Every week, he dedicates his time pro-bono at a community centre on the Gold Coast. Here, he provides legal consultations to ex-refugees and migrants from multicultural backgrounds, offering them guidance and support as they navigate their new lives in Australia.
