CEO - Principal NB Migration Law
Agnes Kemenes, the founder and CEO of NoBorders Law Group has been a successful migration advocate since 1998. Her rich experience in assisting individuals and businesses to achieve their migration goals stems from her own journey as a migrant.
Originally from Budapest, Hungary, Agnes arrived in Australia in 1987 without knowing English or having any connections in the country. Her personal experiences, including overcoming ‘Migration Syndrome’ and establishing her own migration practice in 1998 through dedication and hard work, give her unique insight into her clients’ situations.
In 2010, Agnes was a finalist in the Queensland Ethnic Business Awards. Her passion for people and Australia, combined with her professional and legal knowledge, resulted in a steady stream of clientele, primarily through referrals from satisfied clients. While managing a thriving practice, Agnes completed her legal studies at the Queensland University of Technology, obtaining a Bachelor’s degree and gaining admission as a lawyer.
Agnes also participates in various corporate and political functions, where she voices her opinions on Australia’s migration policy and establishes corporate alliances for her clients’ benefit. Known for her charisma, empathy, and innovative thinking, Agnes is dedicated to assisting clients throughout the migration process. She is a member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors, Member No. 004.
Director NB Property Law
Kayleigh Swift is an Associate in the Commercial and Property Law Team who also has experience and high capability in Employment Law and Workplace Relations.
Prior to working for NB Lawyers, Kayleigh was working for a mid-sized firm in their commercial property team. Kayleigh has also previously been employed by a local Council in their property department. In both these roles, she was exposed to high-level advisory work in:
residential, trustee, telecommunication, commercial and retail leasing;
purchase and sale acquisitions (both compulsory and voluntary); and
strata/multi-unit developments, railway/flood mitigation projects, etc.
Such experience has put Kayleigh in good stead to advise clients on the traps and pitfalls associated with property development and investment as well as providing holistic commercial legal advice to assist clients in business development and growth. Her Employment Law experience includes work on Unfair Dismissal and General Protections claims as well as advisory work around restructures and redundancies.
She is passionate about commercial and property law and strives to assist clients with their property and commercial matters to ensure a smooth transaction and provide advice in practical business terms

Chloe Skubis is a Lawyer in the Property Law Team. Chloe is a graduate from Griffith University with a Bachelors of Laws and Government International Relations and is currently working towards her Graduate Diploma of Legal Practice.
Prior to working at NB Lawyers, Chloe has had over 3 years of experience in property law, specialising in residential conveyancing and leasing. Chloe’s passion lies in conveyancing and working with her clients to achieve their goals in buying and selling their properties.
Not only is she passionate about conveyancing, but she is also motivated to develop her skills in providing the best legal advice for her clients and work through every possible solution to find the best outcome.
Senior Legal Assistant
Tracey has a broad range of experience working across various industries. Her working career started as a receptionist with luxury and high-end hotel chains, such as Hyatt International, Hyatt Regency Coolum and Park Hyatt Canberra. After accumulating her experience in professional services, Tracey took some time off to be a mum.
Tracey has an international vision and work experience. For past years, Tracey has lived overseas for 16 years, establishing her skillsets while expanding career opportunities in Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Canada, Mexico and Indonesia. Over this time, Tracey worked in several industries, Education, Banking, Hospitality and Broadcast Technology and now law. With pragmatic approaches and rich experience in handling documentation; combined with a varied and wide overseas experience, Tracey has developed a greater acceptance, appreciation and understanding of people and cultures to bring to her new journey with NB Lawyers – Lawyers for employers
Junior Legal Assistant
Stacey is new to the legal world, but has a wide array of experience from previous positions. Her varied positions range from admin for the Brisbane Tech team at the Bureau of Meteorology, a dance teacher/receptionist at a dance studio to a Logistics Administrator at a NDIS construction company.
An avid motorsport fan, as well as a competitive ballroom dancer, Stacey likes to keep both her work and spare time busy. With such different hobbies, this has allowed her to be around a wide array of people and cultures. With a great understanding that there are many walks in life, Stacey is ready to help to the best of her ability, no matter the circumstances.
